The Rapid Response Facility accepts applications year-round, and prioritises its resources to fund emergency conservation activities in high-biodiversity value sites facing acute threats.
The Facility aims to review all applications and provide a funding decision to applicants within eight working days (on average). If approved, funds are transferred to grantees immediately to ensure emergency response can proceed as quickly as possible.
If your site and project fit within RRF guidelines, download an RRF application form (Microsoft Word format). The completed application form should be submitted to the RRF Secretariat at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Should your project not fit within RRF guidelines, feel free to review our list of alternative sources of funding. This list is by no means comprehensive, but provides some initial suggestions of other funders who support biodiversity conservation activities around the world.
